中国石油天然气管道工程有限公司于1970年成立，与中国第一个长距离、大口径管道工程（“83”工程）同期诞生。中国石油天然气管道工程有限公司是中国最早获得工程勘察设计“双A”资质的企业之一，中国石油天然气管道工程有限公司并且是唯一一家全面参与中国四大能源走廊建设的企业。中国石油天然气管道工程有限公司承担了中国长距离管道工程勘察设计业务70%以上的工作量，累计为近14万公里的管道以及超过4000万立方米的储罐和仓库提供勘察、设计和咨询服务，客户遍布50多个国家和地区。
The company was established in 1970, born alongside the construction of China's first long-distance, large-diameter pipeline project ("83" project). It is one of the first companies in China to obtain the "Double A" qualification in engineering survey and design, and the only one that has fully participated in the construction of China's four major energy corridors. It has undertaken over 70% of China's long-distance pipeline engineering survey and design business, cumulatively providing survey, design and consultation services for nearly 140,000 km of pipelines and over 40 million cubic meters of storage tanks and warehouses, with clients in over 50 countries and regions.
